Steve Heigham
: I started my interest 5 years ago through a workshop by Caroline Hickman, and have been on the mailing list of the CPA ever since; I have been a member of XR since 2018, am a member of XR Psychologists, and have done regen work here in Bristol; I have researched and written articles on the subject of young people’s distress, some of which are on my Academia account; more recently, working with the South West branch of the BPS I have taken part in, and run workshops of intergenerational concerns about climate change. I am currently working with one client who is a JSO activist.

Practitioners on the CPA Therapeutic Support Directory offer up to three free sessions to anyone aged 18 or over experiencing eco-related distress. CPA is not a counselling service and is not financially involved with individual practitioners. We simply connect people seeking support with climate-aware professionals.
