Saleh Mohamed

ICRA Youth Co-ordinator

I’m Saleh Mohamed, and in my role as ICRA Co-ordinator and a clinical psychologist, I’m passionate about supporting young people. My role sits at the intersection of inner and outer work, helping create spaces where people can make sense of what they’re feeling and stay connected in systems that can be exhausting. At CPA and through the Inner Climate Response Alliance, I’m especially interested in communication that informs but more importantly reaches people. I wonder how we can hold spaces that engage with complexity, speak to emotion, and still invite movement. I believe climate action is as much a relational challenge as it is a practical one, and I’m drawn to approaches that bring community, imagination, and meaning into the work. I have found the impacts of the climate crisis lead to pathologising labels on our inner world and hope to shift this perspective to acknowledge these emotional impacts as reasonable and human responses. Outside of my formal roles, I stay grounded through movement and the everyday reminders that change happens through connection.

Practitioners on the CPA Therapeutic Support Directory offer up to three free sessions to anyone aged 18 or over experiencing eco-related distress. CPA is not a counselling service and is not financially involved with individual practitioners. We simply connect people seeking support with climate-aware professionals.
