I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist with a passionate interest in eco psychology and the interrelatedness of the human and more that human psyche. I taught an ecospychology module to trainee counsellors and psychotherapists for many years. I currently co-facilitate the CPA monthly online Social Dreaming Matrix and regularly facilitate ecospiritual retreats.

My way of working

I work from a perspective informed by my transpersonal theory of therapy, and a profound conviction that we are all part of the web of life, human and more than human. I believe that distress in the face of what is happening is a sane response to an insane situation, and that human symptoms are not only ‘personal’ but symptoms of the distress of Anima Mundi, the Soul of the World. I work within a frame that is empathic, relational, trauma informed and which seeks to de-pathologise suffering, seeking instead to listen to the voice speaking through the symptoms.
