I have been a Climate activist myself in a very small way, taking action in October 2021 and, after a Crown Court trial, being found guilty of Public Nuisance. My daughter and many of our friends have been in prison for much braver work than mine.
The work I have done with clients anxious about the climate is different from other work. The fear is real and appropriate and can’t be fixed by therapy. But my hope is that together we can find a way of living with this knowledge and flourishing anyway. I would like, respectfully, to offer what support I can to the brave people who have taken action and may be struggling with the emotional fallout.
