Launch of 'Living with the Climate Crisis' – Mon 17th April

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Living with the Climate Crisis! Join us for the online launch of the project on Mon 17 April 7-8.30 pm UK time

Meet the authors – Rosemary Randall, Rebecca Nestor, Daniela Fernandez-Catherall and Andy Brown – who will introduce the new materials, talk about the thinking behind the project and answer your questions.

This new project has a dedicated website, currently in draft form, where you can find out more and download the materials for free. The new materials are an upgrade of Carbon Conversations for modern times. They provide guidance for a series of group meetings which aim to help people respond to the climate crisis, both personally and collectively.

The groups provide a space for people to talk, to share, to express what they feel and to reflect. They offer tools, ideas and skills for action. They emphasise our shared humanity, our interdependence and the need for a collective response. They are rooted in psychological understandings of our distress, of our difficulties in communication and of each person’s need to find a place in a bewildering array of possibilities for action.
